All 30 questions →Does Lobby change or create calendar events?
No. Lobby only has read-only access to your room calendars. When someone books from the QR code or Slack, their own calendar creates the event.
Can I use Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 at the same time?
No. Each organisation uses one calendar provider. To switch, disconnect the current one in Settings, then connect the other.
Why doesn't my room appear in the Add a room list?
On Google, Lobby only lists room calendars the connected person is subscribed to. On Microsoft 365, rooms are listed once automatic room discovery is turned on. You can always add a room manually with its calendar address.
Where do I find a room's calendar address?
On Google, in Google Admin under Calendar Resources: copy the Resource email. On Microsoft 365, in the Exchange admin center under Rooms & equipment: copy the room's email address. Your IT team can also give it to you.
Do I need a Microsoft 365 admin?
Not for syncing: an ordinary account can connect. A Microsoft 365 admin is only needed once, to turn on automatic room discovery, and to give the connected account access to room calendars it can't already read.
Microsoft 365 says the address is right but Lobby isn't allowed in. What now?
Give the connected account Reviewer access to the room's calendar, or connect another admin account that can already see the room under Settings, Calendar accounts.
What happens if the person who connected the calendar leaves?
Sync stops when their access ends. On Microsoft 365, connect a second calendar account so another one takes over. On Google, an admin reconnects with their own account.
Lobby says 'You already have this room'. Why?
That calendar is already one of your rooms. Open the existing room and attach your new screen to it. One room can drive any number of screens.
