Do I have to buy special hardware?

Our recommended panel is the Seeed reTerminal E1001, bought direct from Seeed Studio from $69. TRMNL devices work too.

Does Lobby write to our calendars?

No. Access is read-only on every plan.

What happens if Google or Microsoft has an outage?

Lobby-hosted screens keep showing the last schedule Lobby cached and resync on their own when the calendar is reachable again.

Install the e-ink firmware on the Seeed reTerminal E1001 over USB-C. TRMNL devices just need pointing at Lobby.

Point it at Lobby
On first boot, the panel connects to Lobby's display server instead of a vendor cloud.

Claim it
It shows a short code. In the dashboard, choose Add a screen > Self-hosted screen and type the code.

Pick the room or board. The panel shows live status on its next wake.
