Narrated walkthrough with captions. The steps below cover the same ground with screenshots.
Before you start
- Your organisation is on Pro for Rooms, or Complete Pro.
- 1
Create a template
Go to Templates and click New template. Under Screen type, choose TRMNL e-ink for e-ink panels or Virtual / browser for tablets and TVs. Give it a name and click Create template.
Templates hold your logo and colours. - 2
Add your branding
Under Branding, set a Brand label, upload your Logo (up to 500 KB) and crop it. Tick Hide attribution entirely to remove the Lobby credit.
Add your logo, colours and background, with a live preview. - 3
Set the colours
Under Section colors, choose background and text colours for each state: available, starting soon and in use. The preview updates as you go.
Add your logo, colours and background, with a live preview. - 4
Virtual screens: background and text size
For a virtual template, you can also set the Font scale and a Background image (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 2 MB). Click Save.
Add your logo, colours and background, with a live preview. - 5
Apply it to a screen
Open the screen's page, choose your template from the Template list and click Save settings.
Pick a template for the screen, then save.
What happens next
The screen shows your branding on its next refresh.
Tips
- A TRMNL template only works on TRMNL screens, and a virtual template only on virtual screens. Create one of each if you use both.
- Deleting a template that screens still use switches those screens back to the standard Lobby look.
- If you leave Pro, screens go back to the standard Lobby branding. Your templates are kept.
